Aridland Development Programme (ADP)

15 trainees (1 female, 14 males) enrolled for phone and radio and are undergoing training in Kotido District.

16 female youth have been enrolled and are undertaking a one month training on the hairdressing.

12 students have been enrolled in the boarding setup at ADP to undertake training in Building Technology for a period of 6 month that started in late May. The training is based on modules from the Directorate of Industrial training and developed by National Curriculum Development Center-Kyambogo. At the end of this course, the students shall sit for a certificate exams as per their modules.

10 students have been enrolled in a boarding setup at ADP to undertake training in Fashion and Design for a period of 6 month that started in late May. At the end of this course, the students shall sit for a certificate exams. The module for Fashion and Design is under development by the National Curriculum Development Center 12 students were enrolled at the beginning of the course and by reporting period only 9 students were consistently attending the modular course provided by National Curriculum Development Center. At the end of this course, the students shall sit for a certificate exam as per their modules. The course is undertaken on a theory and immediate practical basis. The hand on training offered the student opportunity to exercise and produce furniture of high grades.
