Rev.Canon. Nelson Owilli
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (ED)
Rev Canon Nelson Owilli is a Teacher, Counsellor, Mentor, Pastor, preacher, Administrator and Development worker.
He holds a Master degree in Rural Development from the University of East Anglia (UK), a degree in theology from Bishop Tucker Theological College, Mukono (current Uganda Christian University), and a diploma in Secondary education from National Teachers` College Kyambogo (current Kyambogo University). He attended various short courses related to various elements of development and Pastoral work and governance.
Rev Nelson has been in senior management positions for the last 29 years as follows: Six years as head teacher in Padibe secondary school and Janani Luwum Memorial college Mucwini both schools are in Kitgum, 12 years as Executive Director for Karamoja Dioceses Development Services (KDDS) covering Karamoja region and 11 years as Executive Director Aridland Development Programme (ADP) working in the districts of North and South Karamoja with head office in Abim.
Rev Nelson has served as Chairperson in several Board of Governors : Amudat Hospital, Moroto High School, Abim SSS, Lotuke Seed SSS, Moroto Core PTC. He also served as a member on the Provincial Board of Education and currently he is on the Board of Finance and Investment of the Province of the Church of Uganda.
